BigFoot Golf — Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 7, 2026

BigFoot Golf (“the app,” “we,” “us”) is a private scoring app for a yearly Ryder-Cup-style golf outing. This policy explains what the app collects, why, and how it is stored. We keep it simple because the app is simple: it exists only to run the outing for our group of players.

Who this app is for

BigFoot Golf is intended for members of our golf outing. It is not a general consumer service, and we do not use it to build advertising or marketing profiles.

Information we collect

When you use the app, we collect and store the following, all of which you provide by using the app:

We do not collect location, contacts, browsing history, advertising identifiers, or payment information. The app contains no third-party advertising or analytics/tracking SDKs.

How your information is used

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with third parties for advertising.

Where your information is stored

App data (profiles, scores, messages, and uploaded photos) is stored using Supabase (database and file storage), our hosting provider. Push notifications are delivered through Expo and Apple Push Notification service (APNs). These providers process the data solely to provide hosting and delivery for the app. Data is protected in transit using HTTPS/TLS and is accessible only to signed-in members of the outing, subject to the app’s access rules.

Data retention

We keep your data for as long as the app is in use for the outing so that historical scores and records remain available year to year. You may ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time (see Contact below), and we will remove it from the app.

Children’s privacy

BigFoot Golf is intended for adult members of our golf outing and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
